Your VIN (vehicle identification number) tells us the exact year, make, model and factory. The standard VIN does not spell out the color, so we match your VIN to the factory build data and the colors offered for your vehicle, then confirm the code with you before we mix.

How it works

  1. Send us your 17-character VIN (on the dashboard at the windshield, or the driver door jamb).
  2. We check the factory colors offered for your exact vehicle.
  3. We confirm your code free, from your VIN or a photo of your paint label.

Custom-mixed touch-up paint is coming soon to United Finishing Supply: matched to your exact code, mixed in-house in Deer Park, NY, and shipped the same day. In the meantime we check paint codes free.

Questions

Where is my VIN? At the bottom of the windshield on the driver side, on the driver door jamb, and on your registration and insurance card.

My car was repainted. Will the factory code match? Possibly not. Call us about a spectrophotometer scan at our Deer Park location.
