United Finishing Supply — Return & Refund Policy

At United Finishing Supply, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If something isn't right, here's how our returns work.

Return window. You may request a return within 30 days of your delivery date. To start a return, contact us at info@unitedfinish.com to receive a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Authorized returns must arrive at our warehouse within 21 days of the date your RGA is issued.

Condition of items. Returned products must be new, unused, unopened, and in their original packaging in resalable condition. We reserve the right to decline a refund for any item that arrives used, damaged, or unsalable.

Return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, except when the return is the result of our error (such as a wrong or defective item shipped). If your order shipped under a free or discounted shipping promotion, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.

Restocking fee. Most items can be returned with no restocking fee. Consumable products and paints, coatings, primers, varnishes, and epoxies are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and freight charges on these items are not refundable.

Non-returnable items. Special orders, custom-tinted paints, and any items sold as "as-is," "open box," "scratch & dent," or "clearance" are final sale and cannot be returned. Opened HAZMAT products (paints, solvents, aerosols) cannot be returned for safety reasons.

Defective tools and warranties. Tools and equipment found to be defective are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Please contact the manufacturer directly for inspection, repair, or replacement, and we'll gladly help point you in the right direction.

Damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@unitedfinish.com with photos of the product and packaging so we can file a freight claim.

Refunds. Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days.

How to start a return. Email us at info@unitedfinish.com with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return, and we'll send your RGA number and return instructions.
