Film-backed sanding discs feature polymer film backing (in contrast to conventional paper), finer mineral grains, and anti-clogging stearate coating for better flexibility, crease & tear resistance, and a more consistent surface finish. Excellent for finishing primers, composite materials, wood coatings, scratch-resistant clear coats, blend preparation, removal of orange peel, and denibbing paint. Mist surface with water for best performance.
